It’s good to talk!

Too often we can be guilty of bottling things up because we either don’t want to bother those close to us or we don’t know how to communicate what it is we want to say. Sometimes our problems don’t quite make sense in our heads so we shy away from discussing them for fear of being misunderstood.

It is always difficult to put a ‘feeling’ into words, as no matter how well versed you are in there written word, the letters can never truly articulate the depth and emotion let with a feeling.

But you have to try! Because the alternative will lead to the problem festering inside and you will suffer all the more for it.

So it is good to talk, to family, friends, even your pets. As you struggle to find the right words, believe it or not, your mind will begin to make better sense of the problem.

And if you don’t want to say the words aloud then write them down…journalling is a powerful way to talk to yourself.
